Trip - 3 Hour Trip In St. Petersburg - Cobia, Grouper And More on March 20, 2026

Great experience for my four teenage sons. Captain Hank checked in the day before, warming of less than ideal conditions and offered a full refund. I declined knowing they’d still love the experience. They caught some sheepshead and Hank cleaned and bagged them up for them. They had a great time and enjoyed the whole 3-hour trip amd said it went too fast. We will be back. Thanks!

Captain Hank did a great job and is very knowledgeable. He put us on the fish and fish several different areas. I will definitely be back to fish with him again. Can’t recommend him enough.

The Captain put in a lot of effort to make this trip unforgettable! We caught plenty of fish, released some to grow, which isn't easy in the summer heat. We caught different types of fish at various spots. He cleaned and packed the fish on ice, and even took photos for us. Overall, it was a great trip!

We had a slow day with not many fish biting, but Captain Hank still made the trip a success by helping us catch enough for a family dinner. When the fish are biting, any boat can work, but when the fishing is tough, a good captain makes all the difference. Choose Hank for a reliable and great experience!

We had a great time overall. Even though we didn’t catch the biggest or best fish, Captain Hank made it a fun and memorable trip. He worked really hard to find the best spots, but the fish just weren’t biting. I’d definitely recommend him for a professional yet friendly charter. We’ll book with him again for sure next time we’re in the area.

For my birthday, I wanted to catch my first ocean fish, so I booked a charter with Hank. The night before, he informed me that conditions weren’t ideal and gave me the option to reschedule or try inshore fishing instead. Since I had taken the day off and it was my birthday wish, I chose to go ahead with inshore fishing, and I’m so glad I did! While my son caught most of the fish, I still had the thrill of catching my first ocean fish. Hank knew exactly where to take us, and we ended up catching nine keeper red snappers. He even cleaned the fish and patiently waited while I made a gyotaku print. Hank also recommended where to have our fish cooked, and we spotted dolphins during the trip. I highly recommend Hank—he ensures you have an amazing day, even with less-than-perfect conditions!
